​Knit Crimson Pullover

You’ll need:

600 (700)g of crimson 100% cotton yarn (70m/50g);

Knitting needles 6 and 7.

Size: S (L).

Used Patterns

Rib, knitting needles 6: the quantity of sts is odd. Start and finish every row with 1 selvage st.

RS row: * 1 purl, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl;

WS row: as sts face.

Relief pattern, knitting needles 7: the quantity of sts is multiple 22 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows as sts face. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with st after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st.

Note: replace knit3tog to knit2tog in the beginning of the 39^th rows, make 1 knit st instead of the last yarn over in the end of the row.

Repeat 1^st-40^th rows.

Stitches control: rib: 19 sts x 20,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Relief pattern: 14,5 sts x 20,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 69 (91) sts and work with rib for lower placket. Then, continue work with relief pattern. In 58 cm = 120 rows from lower placket, make neck-hole with rib. In 6 cm from placket, bind off the sts as they face.

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

Sleeves

Cast on 51 (59) sts for each sleeve and work with rib for placket. Then, continue work with knitting needles 7 in the following way: 1 selvage st, 13 (17) sts of rib (start and finish with 1 knit st), 23 sts of relief pattern, 13 (17) sts of rib (start and finish with 1 knit st), 1 selvage st. At the same time, increase 9 x 1 st in every 8^th and 10^th rows by turn (13 x 1 st in every 6^th row) as sts face for sleeve chamfers = 69 (85) sts. In 43 cm = 88 rows from lower placket, bind off the sts as they face.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams for 12 (18) cm long. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
