You’ll need:

1-2 skeins of Caron Simple Soft yarn in Robin’s Egg color;

Crochet hook I;

Tapestry needle;

Scissors;

Measuring tape.

Size: 7” wide x 60” long.

Instructions

To begin, you want your foundation chain to be a multiple of 6 stitches plus 1.

Ch 31

Row 1: 2dc in the 4th chain from your hook. Skip 2 chains and make 1sc in next stitch. *Skip 2 chains and make 4dcs in next stitch. Skip 2 chains and make 1sc in next chain. Repeat from * to end of row. Chain 3 and turn.

Row 2: Make 2dcs in 1st sc. Skip 2 stitches. *Make 1sc in between the 2nd and 3rd dc of next group. Skip 2 stitches, 4dcs in next sc. Next, skip next 2 stitches. Repeat from * to the end of the row, making 1sc in the space between the last dc and the chain 3. Turn and Chain 3.

Row 3-up: Continue working row 2 until 60” long or desired length.

Assembly

Leave at least 6 inches for your tail. Cut yarn. Yarn over your hook and pull through the last stitch of your row and tighten. To weave in all yarn ends, thread your yarn in your tapestry needle and go in between the stitches one way and back the other way.
