400g of light-blue yarn (50% wool, 50% angora; 250m/100g);

100g of the same yarn, but in white color;

Knitting needles 4,5;

Crochet hook 4;

9 buttons.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 119 sts with light-blue yarn and make 2 rows of garter stitch. Then, work due to the scheme 1. Make the stripe of garter stitch with white yarn in the 15^th row, then, from 5^th to 14^th rows – work with light-blue yarn, 1^st-4^th rows – white yarn. Totally, you should get 9 light-blue and 9 white stripes. After that, work due to the scheme 2. Make 1^st-14^th rows x once, then, repeat 5^th-14^th rows. Totally, you should get 10 weaves. At 75 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 5 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides for arm-holes. Then, knit straight. At 97 cm height, bind off all the sts.

Right Front

Cast on 67 sts with light-blue yarn and work, alternate patterns in the same way, as for back. Make the edge 6 sts from right side with 1 x 1 rib for placket. At 58 cm height from the lower edge, make button loop on placket. For this, bind off 2 sts in the middle of placket, cast on new 2 sts in the next row at this place. Make arm-hole from the left-side in the same way, as for back at the same height. At the same time, at 89 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 10 sts, 2 x 5 sts, 2 x 4 sts, 3 x 3 sts and 2 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row. At 22 cm height of arm-hole, bind off the rest sts of shoulder.

Left Front

Make in symmetry to the right front, but without button loops.

Sleeves

Cast on 67 sts and work straight, alternating the patterns in the same way, as for back. At 46 cm height, bind off 1 x 5 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides for sleeve cap. Then, bind off 2 x 1 st in every 4^th row. At 16 cm height of cap, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 5 sts in every 2^nd row. At 25 cm height of cap, bind off the rest 15 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams, sew up the sleeves, make sleeve seams. Fasten all the edges with 1 row of single crochets with the help of crochet hook. Then, fasten the neck-hole with 1 row of festoons. Sew buttons.
