Crochet hooks 4 and 5;

Circular knitting needles 4.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 2 + 3 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme 1. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-3rd rows x once, then, repeat 2nd-3rd rows.

Arches pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 5 + 1 + 1 chain st increase. Work due to the scheme 2. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-4th rows x once, then, repeat 3rd-4th rows, make double crochets and single crochets through arches of chain sts and chain sts of the previous row.

Stitches control: main pattern, crochet hook 5: 16 sts x 7 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Arches pattern, crochet hook 5: 15,5 sts x 6,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

1 row of single crochets = 0,5 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 71 (81) 91 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with arches pattern = 13 (15) 17 pattern repeats + ½ pattern repeats from both sides. In 57,5 cm = 38 rows from the set-up row, work with the main pattern, make 23 (26) 29 pattern repeats + initial and final double crochets = 71 (80) 89 sts. In 62 cm from the set-up row, decrease 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 3 x 2 sts in every row = 53 (62) 71 sts. In 80,5 (82) 83,5 cm from the set-up row, leave the central 21 (24) 27 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, decrease 1 x 3 sts in the next row from inwards. In 82 (83,5) 85 cm from the set-up row, finish back on the rest 13 (16) 19 sts of shoulder, making 1 row of single crochets = total height is 82,5 (84) 85,5 cm.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but for deeper neck-hole, leave the central 9 (12) 15sts in 63 (64,5) 66 cm from the set-up row and decrease 3 x 2 sts and 3 x 1 st in every row.

Sleeves

Make 53 (59) 65 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern = 17 (19) 21 pattern repeats + initial and final double crochets. For chamfers, increase 1 x 1 st and 1 x 2 sts in every row from the set-up row from both sides = 59 (65) 71 sts. In 3 cm from the set-up row, decrease 3 sts from both sides for sleeve caps and 1 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts and 3 x 1 st in every row. In 13 cm from the set-up row, finish your sleeve on the rest 29 (35) 41 sts, make 1 row of single crochets, total height is about 13,5 cm.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 88 (99) 110 sts with circular knitting needles, make 4 rows of purls, then, bind off all the sts as knit sts. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Cast on 44 (50) 54 sts along the lower edge of sleeves with circular knitting needles, make 4 circle rows of purls, then, bind off all the sts as knit sts. Fasten bottom edge with 1 circle row of picot with crochet hook 4.
