You’ll need:
100% cotton yarn;
Crochet hook 1;
2 buttons of 9 mm;
Scissors;
Needle and thread.
Stitches control: 10 sc x 12 sc rows = 1".
Instructions
Once you reach the end of one leg, do not fasten off yet, as we are going to add some length to the legs to make it look more like a classic pair of overalls.
Rounds 15 - 16: Same as Round 2. (23)
Round 17: Ch 1, sc in the first 14 sc, inc in the next sc, sc in the last 8 sc, join, turn (24)
Round 18: Same as Round 2. (24)
Now we are going to add ribbing at the hem.
Row 19: Ch 9, sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, sl st in the next 2 sc of Round 18, turn. (3)
Row 20: Working in BLO, sc in the 3 sc of Row 19, turn. (3)
Row 21: Working in BLO, ch 1, sc in the next 3 sc, sl st in the next 2 sc of Round 18, turn. (3)
Repeat Rows 20 and 21 until you complete a whole Round of ribbing. Sl st the back loops of the last row with the first row to join. Fasten off.
Repeat for the other leg.
Front of Top
Row 1: On the opposite side of the ch from the Barbie Short Shorts, sk the first 11 ch, attach thread with sc in the next ch, sc in the next 10 ch, sk the remaining ch, turn. (11)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn. (11)
Rows 3 - 16: Repeat Row 2. (11)
Fasten off. Sew 2 buttons on each side of the top.

Row 1: Sk 5 ch from the front, attach thread with sc in the next ch, sc in the next 9 ch, sk the remaining ch, turn. (10)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn. (10)
Rows 3 - 14: Repeat Row 2. (10)
Do not fasten off.
First Strap
Row 15: Ch 1, sc in the first 2 sc, sk the remaining sc, turn. (2)
Row 16: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn. (2)
Rows 17 - 22: Repeat Row 16. (2)
Row 23 (Buttonhole Row): Ch 1, sc in the first sc, ch 4 for the buttonhole, sc in the last sc. Fasten off.
Second Strap
Row 15: Skip 6 sc in the remaining sc in Row 14, attach thread with an sc in the next sc, sc in the last sc, turn. (2)
Rows 16-23: Repeat from the First strap.
Weave in all ends.
