​Multicolored Wavy Tunic

You’ll need:

350 (400)g of lilac Starwool Maxi yarn (100% merino wool; 80m/50g);

300 (350)g of the same yarn, but in burgundy color;

300 (350)g of the same yarn, but in orange color;

Crochet hook 4,5.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Zigzags pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 20 + 1 + 3 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme 1. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd and 3^rd rows, then, make 4^th-12^th rows x once.

Colors order: 1 lilac row, * 2 burgundy rows, 2 orange rows, 2 lilac rows*; repeat from * to *.

Motif A (make 8/10): make initial st with orange yarn and work with circle rows due to the scheme 2. Make 1^st-4^th rows x once.

Motif B (make 10/12): make in the same way, as motif A, but due to the scheme 3.

Stitches control: zigzags pattern: 20 sts x 6,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Motif A = 10 x 10 cm;

Motif B = 8 x 8 cm.

Instructions

Make 81 (101) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with zigzags pattern due to the order of colors. In 48 (46) cm from the set-up row, make 2 chain of 80 chain sts for each sleeve and work on all the sts with zigzags pattern, starting from the 5^th row. Make 5^th-8^th rows x once, then, repeat 7^th and 8^th rows. In 68 cm from the set-up row, leave 5 pattern repeats from both sides, for collar, make 10^th-12^th rows on the central 2 pattern repeats of the scheme 1 and finish your work. Make 2 details. Sew motifs A along the lower edge. Make side and lower seams of sleeves. Sew 5 (6) motifs B along the upper edge of back and connect them with the upper edge of front. Make collar seams and fasten it with 1 row of “shrimp stitch”. Fasten the sleeves with 2 rows of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch”.
