​Light-Blue Crochet Jacket

You’ll need:

850 (900)g of light-blue Rotonda yarn (100% microfiber; 130m/50g);

500 (550)g of white Toccata Fino yarn (100% cotton; 160m/50g);

50g of light-green India Cotton yarn (56% microfiber, 44% cotton; 50m/50g);

Crochet hooks 4 and 5;

6 buttons.

Note: work with Rotonda and Fino yarn together.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 2 + 3 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme. Replace the 1^st double crochet of every row to 3 chain sts increase. Start with st before pattern repeat, pattern repeat and finish with st after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-5^th rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-5^th rows.

Pocket bag (make 2): make 21 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with double crochets. Finish in 10 cm from the set-up row.

Stitches control: main pattern: 18 sts x 12,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Make 86 (98) chain sts and work with the main pattern. In 34 cm from the set-up row, leave 6 sts from both sides for arm-holes = 74 (86) sts. In 50 (52) cm from the set-up row, leave 2 x 13 (16) sts in every row from both sides for shoulder chamfers. In 52 (54) cm from the set-up row, finish your work on the rest 22 sts.

Left Front

Make 44 (50) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. In 12 cm from the set-up row, leave 11^th-31^st (17^th-37^th) sts for pocket cut and take pocket bag in work. Make decreases for arm-hole from the right side in the same way, as for back = 38 (44) sts. In 46,5 (48,5) cm from the set-up row, leave 6 sts from the left side for neck-hole chamfer. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every row. Make decreases for shoulder chamfer from the right side in the same way, as for back.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Make 50 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. For sleeve chamfers, increase 4 x 1 st in every 10^th and 12^th rows by turn (7 x 1 st in every 6^th and 8^th rows by turn) = 58 (64) sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 46,5 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams; sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Fasten all the edges with 2 rows of single crochets with light-green yarn, insert crochet gook in every 4^th st 1 cm lower in the 2^nd circle row, make 4 button-holes on the right front. Sew buttons to the left front.
