The quantity of sts is multiple 7 + 1 + 2 selvage sts.

Start and finish every row with 1 selvage st.

1^st row: knit;

2^nd and all the even rows: purl;

3^rd row: * 3 knit sts, knit2tog, 1 yarn over, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

5^th row: * 2 knit sts, knit2tog, 1 yarn over, knit2tog, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

7^th row: * 1 knit st, knit2tog, 1 yarn over, knit2tog, 1 yarn over, knit2tog, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

9^th row: as the 5^th row;

11^th row: as the 3^rd row.

Repeat 1^st-12^th rows.
