You’ll need:

600g of Alpina Tessa yarn (100% wool; 315m/100g) in grey color;

Knitting needles 4;

Auxiliary needle.

Stitches control: relief pattern, knitting needles 4 in 2 threads of yarn: 25 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Cables pattern, knitting needles 4 in 2 threads of yarn: 30 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 151 sts with knitting needles 4 and make 1 WS row. Then, make 254 rows in the following way: 1 selvage st, 2 knit sts, 16 sts of 4 x 4 rib, 16 sts of cables pattern, 4 knit sts, 16 sts of cables pattern, 41 sts of relief pattern, 16 sts of cables pattern, 4 knit sts, 16 sts of cables pattern, 16 sts of 4 x 4 rib, 2 knit sts, 1 selvage st.

For forming side line, bind off 1 st from both sides in the 121^st row, then, 1 st in every 20^th, 16^th, 14^th, 12^th rows = 141 sts on the knitting needles.

For forming arm-holes, bind off 5 sts from both sides in the 256^th row, then, 1 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row, 1 x2 sts, 3 x 1 st = 115 sts on the knitting needle. Bind off all the sts in the 322^nd row from the beginning of work.

Front

Make in the same way, as back. In 253 rows from the beginning of work, divide it in 2 equal halves, add 1 st = 142 sts on the knitting needles.

For forming neck-hole, bind off 29 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from inwards of cable in relief pattern = 42 sts on the knitting needles. For shoulder line, bind off 36 sts in 322^nd row from the beginning of work = 6 sts. Then, knit straight for 48 rows. Don’t bind off the sts.

Sleeves

Cast on 68 sts with knitting needles 4 and make 12 rows in the following way: 1 selvage st, 1 knit st, * 4 purls, 6 knit sts*; repeat from * to * x 5 times, 4 purls, 1 knit st, 1 selvage st.

For sleeve narrowing, bind off 3 sts in the 5^th row, then, 3 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row. There are 56 sts on the knitting needles. Then, work with 4 x 4 rib.

For sleeve widening, increase 1 st from both sides in the 13^th row, then, 2 x 1 st in every 10^th row, 12 x 1 st in every 8^th row = 86 sts on the knitting needles.

For forming sleeve cap, bind off 6 sts from both sides in the 151^st row, then, 1 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts, 14 x 1 st, 3 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row = 10 sts on the knitting needles. In the 195^th row from the beginning of work, bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams, sleeve seams. Sew up the sleeves.
