You’ll need:

400 (500) 500g of sandy Balea yarn (60% viscose, 40% polyamide; 228m/100g);

300 (400) 400g of the same yarn, but in green color;

Straight knitting needles 4 and 4,5;

Circular knitting needles 4.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Rib: straight and reversed rows: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Start and finish every row with 1 selvage st. RS row: * 1 cross knit st, 2 purls*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 cross knit st;

WS row: * 1 cross purl, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 cross purl. Circle rows: the quantity of sts is multiple 3. Make 1 cross knit st and 2 purl rows.

Pattern with slipped sts: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with st after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Make 1st-6th rows x once, then, repeat 3rd-6th rows due to the order of colors.

Stitches control: 21,5 sts x 41 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 102 (111) 120 sts with knitting needles 4 and sandy yarn and make 4 cm of rib. Then, turn to knitting needles 4,5 and work with the pattern with slipped sts. In 59,5 cm = 244 rows from rib, bind off 5 (6) 7 sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers and 3 x 5 (6) 7 sts in every 2nd row. At the same time, in 60 cm = 246 rows from rib, bind off the central 38 (39) 38 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 2 x 3 sts in every 2nd row from inwards. In 61,5 cm = 252 rows from rib, bind off the rest 6 (6) 7 sts of shoulders from both sides.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but for deeper neck-hole, bind off the central 22 (23) 22 sts in 49,5 cm = 202 rows from rib, 1 x 4 sts, 2 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 4 x 1 st in every 4th row.

Sleeves

Cast on 57 (63) 69 sts with knitting needles 4 and sandy yarn and make 6 cm of rib, finish with 1 RS row. Then, turn your work and work with the pattern with slipped sts with knitting needles 4,5. In 11,5 cm = 48 rows from rib, increase 1 st from both sides for sleeve chamfers and 11 x 1 st in every 12th row (12 x 1 st in every 10th and 12th row by turn) 13 x 1 st in every 10th row = 81 (89) 97 sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 47 cm = 192 rows from rib, bind off 5 sts from both sides for sleeve caps and 5 x 5 sts (3 x 5 sts and 2 x 6 sts)1 x 5 sts and 4 x 6 sts in every 2nd row. In 50 cm = 204 rows from rib, bind off the rest 21 (25) 29 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 150 sts along the neck-hole line with circular knitting needles and sandy yarn, make 4 cm of rib for the placket and bind off all the sts due to the ornament. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
