You’ll need:

500g of peachy-white mélange lace yarn (100% cotton; 90m/50g);

Double-pointed knitting needles 3;

Circle knitting needles 3.

Stitches control: 19 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm (stockinette stitch).

Size: S-M.

Chest circumference: 91-96 cm;

Hips circumference: 98-102 cm.

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls. In circle rows – knit sts;

Circle pattern: due to the scheme;

1 x 1 rib;

Relief pattern: 1st row: * 3 knit sts, knit2tog with left decline, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *;

2nd row: purl.

Repeat 1st-2nd rows.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 89 sts and work with rib for 2 cm. Then, work with stockinette stitch. At 4 cm height from the set-up row, decrease 1 st from both sides, then, decrease 5 x 1 st in every 6th row. Knit 10 rows straight. Then, increase 1 st from both sides and 5 x 1 st in every 6th row. At 37 cm height from the set-up row, bind off 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes, then, decrease 1 x 2 sts and 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row. At 54 cm height from the set-up row, bind off the central 31 sts and finish both sides separately, bind off 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from the edge of neck-hole. Bind off the sts of shoulder in the next 2nd row.

Front

Make pattern design. Start your work with circle motif: cast on 8 sts, divide the sts on 4 knitting needles and work due to the scheme, on which 1/8 part of circle motif is presented. Knit around to the neck-hole (about 14 cm from the beginning of work, i.e., center of the circle motif), then, work with straight and reversed rows. Work the 2 sectors of 38 rows due to the scheme, then, work with stockinette stitch (triangles are presented on the scheme, don’t knit them), make relief pattern from the right side. Continue work with other sectors due to the scheme. At the same time, form neck-hole and shoulders due to the pattern design. After the 70th row, repeat 71st-72nd rows, making 1 yarn over from both sides from the st – top of the petal. Make about 32 rows in this way in the center of front, about 20 rows from both sides, neat the arm-holes. Make stockinette stitch between these areas. Work with short rows in the lower part. Make 2 cm of rib in the bottom.

Sleeves

Cast on 39 sts and make 2 cm of rib. Then, work with relief pattern, increase 7 sts in the 1st row. For sleeve widening, increase 7 x 1st in every 10th row. At 36 cm height from the set-up row, bind off 4 sts from both sides, then, bind off 6 x 4 sts in every 2nd row. Bind off the rest sts in the next 2nd row.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves. Make side and sleeve seams. Cast on 98 sts with circle knitting needles along the neck-hole line and make 4 cm of rib, bind off the sts. Fold the placket of neck-hole and sew it.

Why don't you make the sweater patterns  sizes go to large and extra large.    there are so many s and m that are to small for a lot of us .

Thank you!
