​Apple Green Knit Jacket

You’ll need:

450g of 100% cotton yarn in green color;

Knitting needles 4,5 and 5.

Size: S.

Used Patterns

2 x 2 rib;

Small pearled pattern: 1 knit st, 1 purl by turn, replace the pattern in every row;

Fancy pattern: due to the scheme.

Stitches control: fancy pattern: 12 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Small pearled pattern: 15 sts x 23 sts = 10 x 10 cm.

Note: work in 2 threads of yarn.

Back

Cast on 50 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 3 cm with 2 x 2 rib. Continue work with knitting needles 5 due to the scheme, increase 3 sts in the 1^st row = 53 sts. In 24 cm from rib, bind off 5 sts from both sides for arm-holes = 43 sts and knit straight. At 48 cm height, bind off 10 sts for each shoulder and 23 sts for neck-hole.

Right Front

Cast on 24 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 3 cm with 2 x 2 rib. Continue work due to the scheme with knitting needles 5, increase 2 sts in the 1^st row = 26 sts. At 27 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off 5 sts from side seam for arm-hole. At the same time, decrease 11 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from the opposite side for neck-hole chamfer. At 48 cm height, bind off 10 sts for shoulder.

Left Front

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Sleeves

Cast on 30 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 5 cm with 2 x 2 rib. Continue work due to the scheme with knitting needles 5, increase 2 sts in the 1^st row, then, increase 2 x 1 st in every 20^th row from both sides = 36 sts. At 41 cm height from rib, bind off 4 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row from both sides for sleeve cap and the rest 12 sts. Total height is about 53 cm.

Placket for Fastener on the Right Front and Half Collar

Cast on 7 sts with knitting needles 5 and work with small pearled pattern. At 27 cm height, increase 8 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from left side and 8 x 1 st in every 4^th row = 23 sts. At 58 cm height, bind off 3 x 6 sts from the right side and the rest 5 sts.

Placket for Fastener on the Left Front and Half Collar

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams, leave 4 cm open before sleeve cap. Sew up the sleeves in the arm-holes and sew the left 4 cm of sleeves. Sew the details of collar and sew it to the neck-hole line and plackets for fasteners to the front.
