Orange Crochet Girl’s Tunic
You’ll need:
3,5 skeins of bright-orange yarn (50% cotton, 50% viscose; 375m/75g);
A little bit of the same yarn, but in light-orange color;
Crochet hook 2.
Size: 5-6 years.

Instructions
Make 50 chain sts and work with the pattern due to the scheme, repeat 2nd and 3rd rows x 14 times, make increases of ½ shell in every row from both sides. At the same time, make 70 chain sts for back in the 13th row and continue work due to the pattern around.
15th-23rd rows: 4th-5th rows due to the scheme;
24th-31st rows: 6th-7th rows due to the scheme, make the last 2 rows as 9th and 10th rows of the scheme.
Assembly
For straps, make 2 cords of 30 chain sts and 2 cords of 60 chain sts. Fasten each cord with 1 row of double crochets.
Join the long cords to the front part of the tunic, sew the short cords to the ends of straps. Fasten the upper inner part of straps with 1 row of “shrimp stitch” with light-orange yarn.
Make “shells” along the outer side of straps: 1 single crochet (1 double crochet, 1 treble crochet, 1 double crochet) in 1 st, 1 single crochet.
Fasten the “shells”, edging strap, neck-hole and bottom of tunic with 1 row of picot.
Make a cord of 150 chain sts, insert it along the belt of tunic and decorate the ends with wooden beads.
