​Crochet Orange Tunic

You’ll need:

500 (550) 600g of light-orange Lampone yarn (70% cotton, 30% polyamide; 135m/50g);

Crochet hooks 3,5 and 4.

Size: S-M.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 1. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-4th rows x once, then, repeat 3rd-4th rows.

Stitches control, crochet hook 4: 18,5 sts = 10 cm;

Crochet hook 3,5: 21 sts x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Make 97 (105) 113 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with crochet hook 4 and work with the main pattern = 12 (13) 14 pattern repeats + 2 initial sts. In 34 (36) 38 cm form the set-up row change to crochet hook 3,5. In 46 (48) 50 cm form the set-up edges, leave ½ pattern repeats for arm-hole and 3 x ½ pattern repeats in every row =8 (9) 10 pattern repeats + 2 initial sts. In 22 (23) 24 cm from the beginning of arm-hole, finish your work.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with neck-hole. For this, in 8 (9) 10 cm form the beginning of arm-holes divide your work in the middle and finish both sides separately at the height of back.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams to 4 (6) 8 cm from both sides in order to make a picture. Make side seams. For hood. At 40 cm height, fold the hood in half and connect sides from inwards. Fasten neck-hole and hood edges with 2 rows of single crochets and 1 row of “crab stitc”, start and finish at lower edge of neck-hole. Sew plackets across.
