​Crochet Dress for Barbie Doll

You’ll need:

20g of 100% cotton yarn of purple color;

15g of the same yarn, but white color;

Crochet hook 9.

Instructions

Start from the upper part. Make 32 chain sts with purple yarn and circle it in the ring with slip st.

1^st row: 1 chain st increase, 31 single crochets in the next 31 chain sts, finish the row with slip st. Don’t cut the yarn;

2^nd row: join white yarn, 3 chain sts increase, 1 single crochet in the next single crochet of the previous row from the crochet hook, * 1 double crochet in the next single crochet of the previous row from the crochet hook, 1 single crochet in the next single crochet of the previous row*; repeat from * to * x 14 times, totally, 16 times, finish the row with slip st. Don’t cut the yarn;

3^rd row (purple yarn): 1 chain st increase, 1 double crochet in the next single crochet of the previous row, * 1 single crochet in the next double crochet of the previous row, 1 double crochet in the next single crochet of the previous row*; repeat from * to * x 14 times, totally, 16 times, finish the row with slip st. Don’t cut the yarn;

4^th-16^th rows: due to the main scheme pattern, alternate the colors of yarn. Cutthewhiteyarn;

17^th row (purple yarn): 1 chain st increase, 1 single crochet in the double crochet and single crochet of the previous row. Finish the row with slip st. Don’t cut the yarn.

Straps

Make 1 chain st increase, 4 single crochets in the next 4 single crochets of the previous row. Work due to the scheme of skirt 1^st-8^th rows with straight and reversed rows. Join the strap to the back with slip st.

Make the second strap.

Skirt

Join purple yarn from the second side of chain base and crochet around due to the scheme of skirt 1^st-6^th rows. Finish every row with slip st.
