​Norway Style Neck-Piece

You’ll need:

Melange yarn Yarnart Flowers (55% cotton, 45% polyacryl; 1000m/250g); color 259;

Circle knitting needles 2,75.

Height of neck-piece: 70 cm (or you can change it up to you).

Instructions

Start your work from the lower edge. Cast on 3 sts.

2nd, 4th, 6th and all the even rows: purls.

Selvedge sts: slip the 1st st, make the last as knit st. Knit right selvedge sts a little bit tight – knit2tog with left/right decline.

The width of diagonal stripes is up to your liking. Pay attention to their symmetry. Save the middle st in the center of your work.

Knit to the needed height, bind off the sts. Cut the yarn, weave in the ends.
