​Norway Knit Neckpiece

You'll need:

Yarnart Flowers yarn (55% cotton, 45% polyacryl; 1000m/250g), color 259;

Circle knitting needles 2,75.

Height of neckpiece is about 70 сm.

Instructions

Start your work with bottom edge. Cast on 3 sts.

2nd, 4th, 6th and all the even rows: purl.

Selvedge sts: slip 1st selvedge st, make the last as knit st. Knit right selvedge sts a little bit tight - knit2tog with left decline/ knit2tog with right decline.

You can regulate the width of diagonal stripes up to your wish, it's important, that the sides should be in symmetry. Middle stripe should be located in the center.

Knit to the chosen height, bind off the sts. Cut the yarn and weave the ends.
