1^st row: 3 knit sts, * 1 purl, 3 knit sts*; repeat from * to *;

2^nd row: 1 knit st, *1 purl, 3 knit sts*; repeat from * to * to last 2 sts, 1 purl, 1 knit st;

3^rd-6^th rows: 1^st-2^nd rows x twice;

7^th row: 1 knit st, * 1 purl, 3 knit sts*; repeat from * to last 2 sts, 1 purl, 1 knit st;

8^th row: 3 knit sts, * 1 purl, 3 knit sts*; repeat from * to *;

9^th-12^th rows: repeat 7^th-8^th rows x twice.

Repeat 1^st-12^th row to make the ornament.
