​Summer Beach-Dress for Girl

You’ll need:

4 (5) 6 skeins of Elastico yarn of purple color (96% cotton, 4% polyesther; 160m/50g);

3 (4) 5 skeins of the same yarn, but white color;

Crochet hook 4.

Size: 86/92 (104/110) 122/134.

Used Patterns

Single crochets: start each circle row with 1 chain st instead of the 1^st single crochet, finish each circle row with 1 slip st in the changed chain st;

Striped pattern on 9 sts: make due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, repeat the pattern, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-3^rd rows once, then repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows. Before sleeve work due to the following description: alternate 1 purple stripe and 1 white stripe, then alternate every 2 rows.

Picot: * 1 slip st, 3 chain sts, 1 slip st in the 1^st chain st, skip 1 st of the lower row; repeat from *.

Stitches control: striped pattern: 18,5 x 6,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

single crochets: 18 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Note: It’s very important to make pattern design in natural size and match with it, while making decreases.

Back

Make 63 (72) 81 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase instead if the 1^st double crochet. Work with striped pattern to 32 (37) 42 cm, make extra 27 (27) 36 chain sts for sleeves from both sides and work with striped pattern on all the sts, finish work at 45 (52) 59 cm height from the set-up chain.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with V-neck-hole: at 32 (37) 42 cm from the set-up chain, leave the central 1 (2) 1 sts and finish both sides separately, make decreases from the inner edge for cut chamfer (match this detail with pattern design). Finish at the same height, as back.

Assembly

Make side and sleeves seams . Fasten all the open edges with purple yarn – 1 circle row of single crochets and picot.

Make 1 st for the belt of 7 chain sts with purple yarn and make a chain of 5 chain sts with purple yarn with single crochet for 100 (110) 120 cm.
