You'll need:

25g of 100% mercerized cotton of the main color + the same yarn of another color;

Knitting needles 2,5.

Size: 6-9 months

Garter stitch: all knit sts.

Main pattern: 1 row - 1 st increase = 1 knit st cross from the broaching, * 16 sts of garter stitch, 1 double broaching (slip 2 sts as if stockinette stitch, knit sts, draw these sts through the slipped), 16 sts of garter stitch, 1 st increase, 1 st of garter stitch, 1 st increase*, 16 sts of garter stitch, 1 double broaching, 16 sts of garter stitch, 1 st increase.

2nd row: all sts of garter stitch.

Instructions

Cast on 109 sts. Make 1 row of purls. Then, 24 rows with knit sts with the main color yarn, 6 rows with the auxilary color yarn, 6 rows with the main color yarn, 6 rows with the auxilary color yarn and then with the main color yarn. After 15 cm from the edge of your work, bind off the sts - this is the front edge. Make seam as if tulip petals. Make straps about 16 cm long.
