The quantity of sts is multipled 14 sts.

1st row (wrong side): 1 selvedge st, 4 purls, * treble yarn over (= wind the right-hand needlw with working yarn 3 times), 1 purls, treble yarn over, 14 purls*; repeat from * to * to last 5 sts, 4 purls, 1 selvedge st;

2nd row (right side): 1 selvedge st, 4 knit sts, * slip first 3 yarn overs, place this st in front of work, 1 knit st, slip 2nd yarn over, 14 knit sts; repeat from * to * to last 5 sts, 4 purls, 1 selvedge st.

Fasten long loose sts at once. Knit some sts of stockinette stitch after that. Pull these sts with auxilary needle, inserted in the sts. Tighten only knit sts of row. Tie the sts in a bow.

Repeat 1st and 2nd rows twice. You'll get moth with 3 wings.

Make 7th and 8th rows with stockinette stitch.

Make next 6 rows of moths due to the previous description, but replace them a little bit. Then, make 2 rows of stockinette stitch. Then, continue working due to the ornament, starting from the 1st row.
