You'll need:

100g of YarnArt yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl);

Knitting needles 4,5;

Satin ribbon.

Instructions

Knit the faux rib ornament in the following row:

1st row: 1 knit st, 1 purl;

2nd row: 1 purl, insert the knitting needle in the middle of the next st, but from the previous row and make 1 knit st. Repeat these actions to end of row. You need to alternate these rows.

Make the double decreases of sts in the following way: transfer 2 sts on the right-hand needle, 1 knit st, pull it through the slipped st.

Stitches control: 16 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm of faux rib.

Cast on 73 sts and knit faux rib ornament. Start and finish the rib with 1 knit st. When the height is 9 cm from edge, bind off 1 st from the beginning of row, then continue making faux rib ornament, decreasing 16 sts in one stripe. You need to make 8 double decreases.

After that, make faux rib ornament again to 24 cm height from edge and bind off all the sts.
