Materials

- worsted weight yarn in white, orange, black
- size F/ 3.75 mm crochet hook
- safety pin or stitch marker to mark the start of each row
-4.5 mm black plastic safety eyes
- stuffing
- embroidery floss in black and orange
- needle
- felt in color of your choice
- 1/4” wide black ribbon

Starting with black yarn

rnd 2: sc 2 in each st (12 st)
rnd 3: in back loops, sc in each st (12 st)
rnds 4-5: sc in each st (12 st)
rnd 6: *sc 2, dec 1* rep 3 times (9 st)
rnd 7: in front loops, sc 2 in eact st (18 st)
rnd 8: *sc 2, inc 1* repeat 6 times (24 st)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Nose
Starting with orange yarn
rnd 1: ch 2, sc 3 in 2nd ch from the hook (3 st)
rnd 2: sc 1, inc 1, sc 1 (4 st)
rnd 3: *sc 1, inc 1* rep 2 times (6 st)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Head and Body
Starting with white yarn
rnd 1: Ch 2, sc 6 in 2nd ch from the hook (6 st)
rnd 2: Sc 2 in each st (12 st)
rnd 3: *Sc 1, inc 1* rep 6 times (18 st)
rnd 4: *Sc 2, inc 1* rep 6 times (24 st)
rnds 5-7: Sc in each st (24 st)
rnd 8: *Sc 2, dec 1* rep 6 times (18 st)
Attach face. Place eyes between rnds 4 and 5. Sew the nose on under the eyes. Lightly stuff the hat and sew in center top of the head.
rnd 9: *Sc 1, dec 1* rep 6 times (12 st)
rnd 10: In front loops, sc 2 in each st (24 st)
rnd 11: *Sc 2, inc 1* rep 8 times (32 st)
rnds 12-14: Sc in each st (32 st)
rnd 15: *Sc 2, dec 1* rep 8 times (24 st)
rnd 16: *Sc 1, dec 1* rep 8 times (16 st)
rnd 17: *Sc 2, dec 1* rep 4 times (12 st)
rnd 18: Dec 3, stuff the head and body, dec 3, skip 1 st, sl st (5 st)

Fasten off and weave in ends. Cut .5”x7” piece of red felt and snip vertically into the ends to create some fringe. Tie around the neck of the snowman Cut a 8.5” piece of ribbon, string through the top of the hat and knot the ends together.
