  • *Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. Join with slst to first sc (9)
  • Work even for two rounds.
  • Ch2, 2 Dc in each sc around. Join with a slst to beg dc.
  • Fasten off and weave loose ends in.

Assemble your Snowman:

  • The easiest way to join the arms and legs together is to line up the top of the arms and legs altogether and whip stitch the top 1" or so with a yarn needle and matching yarn. Then stitch the whole arm leg assembly to the bottom of the head. Be sure to put the two legs between the arms.
  • Stitch the hat on top of the snowman's head with black yarn. I just tacked it in four spots.
  • Tie the scarf around the snowman's neck.
  • Glue on two 7mm eyes. Cut a carrot shape from orange felt and glue it under the eyes.
  • Carefully cut open five wiggle eyes and take the dots out from inside the eyes. The outer plastic cuts very easily with just a regular pair of scissors. Glue theses five dots on the snowman's face to form a mouth.
  • Thread a piece of monofilament through the top of the snowman's hat and tie the ends in an overhand knot. This will be the ornament hanger.
