Work description:
Base: With white yarn, chain 6 and join to form a ring with a slip stitch. Row 1: Chain 3 as a turning chain, then make 13 dc into the ring. Finish the row with a slip stitch. Continue according to the base chart up to and including row 4. Finish each row with a slip stitch. Cut the thread. Row 5: Attach red yarn and crochet according to the row chart. Finish the row with a slip stitch. Make a loop of chain stitches of any length.
Cherry branch:
Cherry (2 pieces): With red yarn, chain 6 and join to form a ring with a slip stitch. Row 1: Chain 3 as a turning chain, then make 27 dc into the ring. Finish the row with a slip stitch. Row 2: Crochet according to the row chart. Finish the row with a slip stitch.
Leaf (2 pieces): With dark green yarn, chain 13 (12 chains for the base + 1 chain as a turning chain). Row 1: 1 sc in the 3rd chain from the hook, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 5 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc into the next 9 chains of the base, 3 sc into the next chain of the base from the hook, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 5 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc into the next 9 chains of the base, on the reverse side, 3 sc into the next chain of the base from the hook. Finish the row with a slip stitch. Cut the thread.
Stem: With brown yarn, chain 21 (20 chains for the base + 1 chain as a turning chain). Row 1: 1 sc in the 3rd chain from the hook, 18 sc into the next 18 chains of the base. Cut the thread.
