I would like to know where you got the pattern from please. When I click on the name of the raindeer, it gives a 2 or 3 second look and then goes to your picture. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks so much Jackie. Tami H
Carolyn, there are some great youtube.com videos you can watch that will show you exactly what to do and you can rewind and stop them at any time. Keep youtube.com on your computer so you can access it at any time day or night. I was blessed enough to have a grandmother that was a seamstress and she tatted, embroidered, and crocheted. I learned to knit from the girl next door with two stripped pieces of twigs and string… from small beginnings...then when I was older, I learned to do the rest of the stitches I needed to make blankets for my children. I never learned anything much after that, but I found that I had a natural love for crocheting, watching my grandmother do it. But I digress...check out youtube.com and put in search window how to knit (or crochet) hit enter...and choose which one to do. Blessings to you and your family this Christmas. Tami Hamilton
Mercy alive!!! That is the cutest little varmint I have ever seen~~~~~~~~~ Oh man I smiled so wide my jaws hurt. Thanks so much for it! Bless you! Tami H
Try Uno, Racko, Pictionary, Spades, or if you have a big living room… try Wii there are so many fun games on Wii to do. Bowling, pool, riding bulls (I laugh so hard, I get a headache), tennis, etc. without leaving the living room. It might seem expensive, but I'm telling you it is worth it!!! And we've made such hysterical memories together. (giggle) Have a good Holiday season and blessed Christmas. Jinga is good too. If friends of children (older kids of course) want to play (the older kids) charge them twenty-five cents per game!!! (Make some money to buy another game, that's expensive for next holiday~~~) or put it in a jar to take to the bank once a month to put into a savings account with their names on it. Will teach them responsibility.
Hello all! looking for an outfit for my great granddaughter who's turned one year old, last May. She's a little pudgy still, but anything would help for a last-minute Halloween costume. I'm sure someone can think of something! You ladies are so helpful all the time, so thanks ahead of time. I am sending my girlfriends who I used to have a sewing circle with and church as well, their Christmas presents early, kinda! I bought 3 times as much of Christmas fabric (6 different pattens for each one) one yard each patterned fabric and sent two sets of the 6 different patterns off today to them as a Christmas presents for them. (BIG GRIN) BUT! I decided before I sent them off, that I would put a twist in their bonnets by making there be a CATCH to it! (wink) and that it was this: They are to make Each Other presents, out of the fabric I sent them!!! Bahahaha! I emailed them the rules (they can't talk to each other about what material they were using, or what they were making for each other. They could, however, talk about what they were making others, with left-over fabric!!!) They couldn't even use skyp or pics, to show their sewing rooms to each other before they were done. Roflmbo. I have known these women for over 10 years, so I know they won't break the rules! One is a Pastor's wife, lol. They thought it was a fantastic idea. Since I sent them the fabrics for their projects, they have 90% of their Christmas presents from me. And since I'm having a tough time with my hands this year (neck issues make my hands numb plus just found out I'm diabetic), I won't be participating, as I must have surgery before I can be in any condition to, and it will take six months to heal once I have it. I will send them each a $20.00 JoAnnes card to use and that is my gift in total. Thought you might like to make presents to friends, fun to do. Christmas can be done well, so many ways, giggle. If I can make anything it will go to charity.
Oh my word!!! I have been scrolling through the site, making my hands and breathe slow down at the exciting things and new crochet stitches. I am breathless. Never have I seen so much!!! It hit me suddenly… I am 69, I won't live long enough to get all of them, or even try them!!!!Mercy how my heart aches at that. But I'm going to make a mad dash and do my best!!! I tried to do three stitches already, and barely got them done right when that thought hit me like a rock in the head. Wish me luck and lucidity, because I'm like a kid in the candy store here, lol. Hugs to all the sisters on- line that are younger...learn them while you are young! Tami H
