Step 2: Row 1: k1,p1; rep to end of row

Step 3: Row 2: k1, p1; rep to end of row

Step 4: Row 3: p1, k1; rep to end of row

Step 5: Row 4: p1, k1; rep to end of row

Step 6: Repeat rows 1-4. For this swatch I cast-on 12 sts and knitted 12 rows or repeated the pattern 3 times.
