​Knit Purple Pullover with Relief Pattern

You’ll need:

150 (175)g of violet yarn (75% mohair, 25% silk; 225m/25g);

Knitting needles 4,5;

Circular knitting needles 4,5.

Size: S-M (L-XL).

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 18 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS row sts and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-28th rows.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Stitches control: 18,5 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 111 (129) sts and make 1 WS row of purls. Continue work with main pattern. In 65 cm = 182 rows from the set-up row, bind off all sts, the central 47 sts form neck-hole, outer 32 (41) sts – shoulders.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but in 60 cm = 168 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 25 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 1 stand 5 x 2 sts in every 2nd row. Bind off the rest 32 (41) sts of shoulder at the height of back.

Sleeves

At first, make sleeve seams. Cast on 57 (75) sts along the upper 15 (20) cm of side edges of front and back and work with main pattern. In 25 cm = 70 rows from the beginning of work, make 2 cm of stockinette stitch for sleeve placket. Then, bind off all sts as knit sts.

Assembly

For collar, cast on 108 sts with circular knitting needles and work with 2 circle rows of stockinette stitch. In 30 cm from the beginning of collar, bind off all sts as knit sts. Sew side and sleeve seams.
