Knit Purple Striped Pullover

You’ll need:

150g of purple (#9) Alpina Ammy yarn (86% kidmohair, 14% neylon; 200m/50g);

100g of violet-purple (#6) Adelia Sienna yarn (100% neylon; 20m/100g);

Knitting needles 4 and 5.

Stitches control: 15 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 4 sts with Alpina Ammy tarn and work with garter stitch, increase 5 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides. In 5,5 cm = 12 rows from the beginning of work, join a piece of Adelia Sienna yarn to triangle *. For this, make 2 sts in every scale of lace yarn (1 knit st,1 purl). Then, continue work with Alpina Ammy yarn. Continue work with garter stitch, bind off 5 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides. In 5,5 cm = 12 rows from the beginning of new fragment, making with Alpina Ammy yarn*; repeat from * to * until 8 stripes are connected with one another. Cast on 72 sts along upper edge of stripe of Adelia Sienna yarn (36 scales). Continue work with garter stitch, * increase 1 st in the beginning of row and make knit2tog in the end of row*; repeat from * to *; in every 2^nd row x 5 times. Then, join stripes of lace yarn, as it’s described above. In 76 cm (along the long side of rectangular) from the beginning of work (totally, 14 stripes, finish with stripe of lace yarn) and continue work with garter stitch*; repeat from * to *, continue work with garter stitch. Decrease 5 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides. Join a piece of lace yarn, as it’s described above (upper edge is 5 scales lower)*; repeat from * to * until there are 4 sts left on needle. Bind off sts.

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

Sleeves

Cast on 30 sts with knitting needles 4 and Alpina Ammy yarn and make 3 rows of garter stitch. Change to knitting needles 5 and continue work with garter stitch. In 8 cm = 13 rows from the beginning of sleeve chamfers, increase 10 x 1 st in every 6^th row from both sides, 1 x 1 st in every 8^th row, 1 x 1 st in every 10^th row. In 42 cm = 91 rows from the beginning of work, bind off 3 x 2 sts, 10 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row form both sides for sleeve caps. Bind off the rest sts.

Assembly

Make side seams, leave 17 cm from each side for arm-holes. Make shoulder seams, leave 27 cm from neck-hole. Cast on 80 sts along neck-hole with Alpina Ammy yarn and knitting needles 4 and work with garter stitch. In 4 cm = 8 rows from the beginning of work, bind off all sts. Cast on 110 sts along lower edge of work and continue with garter stitch. In 2 cm = 5 rows, bind off sts. Sew up the sleeves.
