Simple Crochet Sofa Throw
You’ll need:
3 skeins of Red Heart Super Saver in Jade color (color A);
3 skeins of the same yarn, but in Aspen Print color (color B);
1 skein of the same yarn, but in Coffee color (color C);
1 skein of the same yarn, but in Warm Brown color (color D);
Crochet hook 5,5 mm;
Tapestry needle;
Scissors.
Size: 80″ x 60″
Instructions
Using Color A to start
Ch 200
1st row: Dc into 3rd ch from hook and each chain down (198);
2nd-15th rows: Ch 2, turn work. Dc into first st and each st across (198);
Change color to Color B
16th-30th rows: Ch 2, turn work. Dc into first st and each st across (198);
Change color to Color C
31st-45th rows: Ch 2, turn work. Dc into first st and each st across (198);
Change color to Color B
46th-60th rows: Ch 2, turn work. Dc into first st and each st across (198);
Change color to Color A
61st-75th rows: Ch 2, turn work. Dc into first st and each st across (198);
Change color to Color B
76th-90th rows: Ch 2, turn work. Dc into first st and each st across (198);
Change color to Color D
91st-105th rows: Ch 2, turn work. Dc into first st and each st across (198)
Change color to Color B
106th-120th rows: Ch 2, turn work. Dc into first st and each st across (198)
Change color to Color A
121st-135th rows: Ch 2, turn work. Dc into first st and each st across (198).
Tie off, weave in ends.
Border
1st rnd: Starting in the corner of the last row you worked, attach Color B and chain 2. Place 2dc around that corner dc (we will be working along the side of the blanket). [Ch 2, sk next row, 3dc around end dc]. Rep [ ] until you reach the last row of the blanket. Ch 2, sk the next st and place 2dc in between the posts. [Ch 1, sk next 2 st, 2dc in between posts]. Rep [ ] until you reach last 2 st. Ch 2, 3dc around last dc, ]ch 2, sk next row, 3dc around end dc]. Rep [ ] until you reach the first row of the blanket. Ch 2, sk next st and place 2dc in between the posts. [Ch 1, sk next 2 st, 2dc in between posts]. Rep [ ] until you reach last st. Ch 1, sl st to join.
