When I luckily found the free crochet pattern to help make this piece, I couldn't wait to share. This kind of cardigan holds the most appeal for me because unlike those sewaters with lacy holes,

a more dense stitch privides garment strength as it gets longer. One can easily substitute a number

of crochet stitch variations using the same cardigan dimensions, making it longer if desired. When a

cardigan is made longer, solid, less-openwork stitching has the durability for holding the sweater piece

as it grows. I am very grateful organizations as this provide a diversity for sharing these wonderful patterns.
