You’ll need:
400g of red 100% cotton yarn (140m/100g);
Crochet hook 3.
Size: M.
Used Patterns
Pattern 1: due to the scheme 1.
Fastening: due to the scheme 2.
Flat cord: make 3 chain sts, then, make 1 single crochet in the 1st chain st, turn your work clock-wide. Insert crochet hook in the obtained 2 sts and make 1 single crochet. Turn your work clock-wide. Make cord of the needed length.
Stitches control: pattern 1: 18 sts (3 pattern repeats) x 5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Make jacket without side seams. Make 160 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and make 27 pattern repeats due to the scheme 1. In 7 rows from the beginning of work, divide it to back (= 11 pattern repets) and front (6 pattern repeat for each half), leave 2 pattern repeats for arm-holes.
Back
Decrease 1 pattern repeat for 2 rows from both sides for arm-holes. In 9 rows from the beginning of decreases, don’t work on the central 5 pattern repeats for neck-hole and finish both sides separately, make 1 row on the rest 2 pattern repeats from both sides.
Left Front
For arm-hole from the right side, decrease 1 pattern repeat for 2 rows. In 7 rows from the beginning of decreases for arm-hole, don’t work on 3 pattern repeats from left side and make 3 rows on the rest 2 pattern repeats and finish left front.
Right Front
Make in symmetry to left front.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams. For collar, make 15 pattern repeats due to the scheme 1. In 4 rows of collar, finish your work. Make 3 rows of single crochets along the lower edge of jacket, alternating 1 double crochet and 2 chain sts and 3 rows of single crochets. Make 2 flat cords for straps 1,2 m long and join them to front.
