Crochet Blue Vest
You’ll need:
12 (13) 15 skeins of blue Phil Coton 4 yarn (100% cotton; 85m/50g);
Crochet hook 5;
Stitch markers.
Size: S (M) L-2XL.
Used Patterns
Main pattern: due to the scheme. Start with 3 sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat (4th-9th rows due to the scheme), finish with sts after pattern repeat.
Repeat 1st-4th rows.
Bead: * 1 yarn over, insert crochet hook in st, catching the yarn, draw st, skip 1 yarn over through 2 sts*; repeat from * to * x 3 times, skip 1 yarn over through the last 4 sts on the crochet hook.
Stitches control: 30 sts x 20 rows = 17 x 17 cm.
Note: this vest is made of 3 parts.
Instructions
Back
Make 109 (121) 133 sts and work due to the scheme. In 33 cm = 38 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.
Front and Upper Part of Back
Make 55 (61) 67 sts and work due to the scheme. In 33 cm = 38 rows from the set-up row, place markers for seam from both sides. At 84 cm = 96 rows (87,5 cm = 100 rows) 91 cm = 104 rows height from the set-up row, finish your work. Make the second half in the same way.
Assembly
Make side seams, fold in the upper part of the 2nd and 3rd parts, then, sew them to the 1st part. Make a cord of 80 cm long and draw it through the pattern on back.
