​Crochet Striped Beanie

You’ll need:

50g of cream Cotton Extra yarn (60% cotton, 40% acryl; 180m/50g);

50g of the same yarn, but in light-blue color;

50g of the same yarn, but in red color;

Crochet hook 3,5.

Instructions

Make 4 chain sts with light-blue yarn and connect them in the ring with 1 slip st in the 1st st of chain.

1st row: 10 single crochets in the ring, finish this and all the following rows with 1 slip st in the 1st st of the row;

2nd row: 2 double crochets in every single crochet of the previous row (replace the first double crochet of every row to 2 chain sts increase);

3rd row: with red yarn:* 2 double crochets in the 1st st of the previous row, 1 chain st, skip 1 st of the previous row*; repeat from * to *;

4th row: cream yarn: 3 double crochets and 1 chain st in every arch of 1 chain st of the previous row;

5th row: light-blue yarn, 1 double crochet in every double crochet of the previous row, 2 double crochet in every arch;

6th row: red yarn: * 2 double crochets in the 1st st, 1 chain st, skip 1 st*; repeat from * to *;

7th row: red yarn: 1 double crochet in every double crochet of the previous row;

8th row: red yarn: double crochets, increase 8 sts (1 st in every 6 sts);

9th row: cream yarn, * 3 double crochets in the next st, don’t fasten off, 2 chain sts, skip 1 st of the previous row*; repeat from * to *;

10th row: cream yarn: 1 double crochet in every st, bind off 3 double crochets tog, 2 double crochets in every arch of 2 chain sts;

11th row: light-blue yarn: 1 slip st in every st;

12th row: cream yarn, double crochets insert crochet hook in the center of sts of the 10th row;

13th row: light-blue yarn, * 8 treble crochets (fan) in space between the 1st and 2nd sts of the previous row, skip 5 spaces*; repeat from * to *;

14th row: cream yarn: 6 double crochets from every 8 double crochets of fans of the previous row;

15th row: red yarn: 1 slip st in every st of the previous row;

16th row: cream yarn, work with double crochets, insert crochet hook in the center of sts of the 15th row and decrease 7 sts (1 st in every 16 sts);

17th row: red yarn, work with double crochets, decrease 3 sts;

18th row: red yarn, 1 double crochet in every st of the previous row;

19th row: cream yarn, 1 double crochet in every st of the previous row;

20th row: light-blue yarn: 1 double crochet in every st of the previous row;

21st row: cream yarn: 1 slip st in every st of the previous row. Finish your work.
