​Fancy Poncho with Fringe

You’ll need:

250g of orange-brown yarn (58% viscose, 42% cotton; 115m/50g);

150g of burgundy yarn (75% cotton, 25% viscose; 100m/50);

150g of the same yarn, but in dark-red color;

100g of the same yarn, but in orange color;

Crochet hook 4.

Size: S-M.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is odd. Work due to the scheme 1. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, 2^nd + 3^rd rows x twice, finish with the 4^th row = 8 rows.

Fans pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 5 + 1. Make in the same way, as the main pattern, but due to the scheme 2. Points above scheme mean double crochets of the last row of the main pattern. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows x once, finish with the 2^nd row = 6 rows.

Fringe with beads: the quantity of sts is multiple 4. Work due to the scheme 3 with circle rows. Start every circle row with 1 chain st increase and finish with 1 slip st. Pattern repeat, make turn to the circle row due to the scheme. Repeat 1^st-2^nd rows x once.

Patterns order: * 8 rows of the main pattern with burgundy yarn, 6 rows of fans pattern with orange-brown color, 8 rows of the main pattern with dark-red yarn, 6 rows of fans pattern in orange-brown color, 8 rows of the main pattern with orange yarn, 6 rows of fans pattern with orange-brown yarn*; repeat from * to * x once, finish with 8 rows in burgundy color = 92 rows.

Stitches control: main pattern: 18,25 sts x 8,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Fans pattern: 18,25 sts x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 121 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with burgundy yarn and work due to the patterns order. In 42 cm = 35 rows from the set-up row, divide your work for neck-hole after the first 61 double crochets of the main pattern and finish both sides separately, increase 1 double crochets from inwards of the 2^nd half. In 24 cm = 20 rows from patterns division, decrease double crochet in the 1^st row. In 108 cm = 92 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Fold your work in half and for sleeves, make seam of 24 cm long. Fasten neck-hole with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “crab stitch”, skip 1 st of the circle rows. Fasten the bottom edge with fringe with beads with dark-red yarn, make 204 single crochets in the 1^st circle row. Make fringe on sleeves.
