You’ll need:

300g of sectional coloring yarn (100% bamboo; 230m/100g);

Knitting needles 2;

Circular knitting needles 3; 2,5; 2.

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib.

Stockinette stitch.

Pattern 1: 1^st-4^th rows: knit;

5^th row: 1 knit st, * 2 yarn over (= twist the yarn twice around RH needle, 1 knit st)*; repeat from * to *;

6^th row: as sts face, slip yarn overs.

Repeat 3^rd-6^th rows.

Pattern 2: the quantity of sts is multiple 10 + 6.

1^st-4^th rows: knit;

5^th row: 6 knit sts, * 2 yarn overs, 1 knit st, 3 yarn overs, 1 knit st, 4 yarn overs, 1 knit st, 3 yarn overs, 1 knit st, 2 yarn overs, 6 knit sts*; repeat from * to *;

6^th-10^th rows: as sts face, slip yarn overs.

7^th-8^th rows: knit;

9^th row: 1 knit st, * 2 yarn overs, 1 knit st, 3 yarn overs, 1 knit st, 4 yarn overs, 1 knit st, 3 yarn overs, 1 knit st, 2 yarn overs, 6 knit sts*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st.

Repeat 3^rd-10^th rows.

Stitches control: 27 sts x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 136 sts + 2 selvage sts with knitting needles 2 and make 5 cm with 1 x 1 rib. After that, make 6 rows of knit sts. Then, work alternating 4 cm of stockinette stitch with 4 cm of pattern 1 and 4 cm of pattern 2. At 45 cm height from the beginning of work, increase 3 x 10 sts and 1 x 9 sts from both sides in every 2^nd row. Then, work as sts face, make the edging 15 sts from both sides with 1 x 1 rib. At 62 cm height, bind off the central 30 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 10 sts, 2 x 5 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 3 x 1 st. At 65 cm height, bind off the rest sts of shoulder. Finish another side in symmetry.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, at 55 cm height, bind off the central 20 sts and finish each side separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 4 x 5 sts, 2 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st from inwards. Bind off the rest sts of shoulder at the height of back. Finish another half in symmetry.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Cast on 200 sts along arm-hole with circular knitting needles 3 and work with 1 x 1 rib with circle rows. In 1 cm change to knitting needles 2,5 and make 1 cm more. Then, change to knitting needles 2 and make 2 cm more. Bind off sts as they face.
