You’ll need:

450g of beige Merino Sport yarn (100% merino wool; 120m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 4 and 4,5.

Size: S.

Used Patterns

Double rib: cast on the half of the needed quantity of sts:

1st row: with working yarn * 1 knit st, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *;

2nd row: * make yarn over as knit st, slip 1 purl without knitting, yarn in front of work*; repeat from * to *;

3rd and the last rows: * 1 knit st, slip 1 purl, yarn in front of work*; repeat from * to *; take off the contrast yarn in ready-made detail.

2 x 2 rib;

6 x 2 rib;

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;

Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts;

Special pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 18.

1st row: * cross 12 sts to the right (leave 6 sts on the auxiliary needle behind work, 6 knit sts, 6 knit sts from the auxiliary needle), 6 knit sts*; repeat from * to *;

2nd and all even rows: purl;

3rd, 5th and 7th rows: knit;

9th row: * 6 knit sts, cross 12 sts to the left (leave 6 sts on the auxiliary needle in front of work, 6 knit sts, 6 knit sts from the auxiliary needle)*; repeat from * to *.

Repeat 1st-10th rows.


Stitches control: stockinette stitch: 16,5 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Special pattern: 29 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 82 sts and make 6 rows with double rib, after that, work with 2 x 2 rib. In 9 cm from the set-up row, change to knitting needles 4,5 and work with stockinette stitch. In 18 cm from rib, decrease 4 x 1 st in every 10th row from both sides after the first 12 sts and before the last 12 sts. In 45 cm from rib, increase 1 x 36 sts and work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 108 sts of special pattern, 1 selvage st. In 15 cm from the beginning of special pattern, bind off 1 x 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes chamfers and decrease 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row after the first 3 sts and before the last 3 sts, making the edging 3 sts from both sides with double rib. Decrease 1 x 28 sts after finishing decreases for arm-hole chamfers and work in the following way: 3 sts of double rib, 4 sts of wrong-side pattern, 58 sts with 2 x 6 rib (finish the row with 2 knit sts), 4 sts of wrong-side pattern, 3 sts of double rib. In 10 cm from the beginning of 2 x 6 rib, decrease 2 sts in every group of 6 purls, increase 9 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from both sides after the first 3 sts and before the last 3 sts. In 14 cm from the beginning of 2 x 6 rib, decrease 2 sts in every group of 4 purls. After finishing side increases, bind off 2 x 5 sts and 2 x 4 sts in every 2nd row from both sides for shoulder chamfers, leave the rest 40 sts.


Front

Make in the same way, as back, but bind off the central 22 sts of neck-hole in 16 cm from the beginning of 2 x 6 rib and finish both sides separately, bind off 2 x 3 sts and 2 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from both side, make shoulder chamfers in the same way, as for back.


Assembly

Make one shoulder seam. For placket, cast on 86 sts along neck-hole, including the previously left sts and work with 2 x 2 rib, in 5,5 cm, make 6 rows of double rib and bind off all sts. Make second shoulder seams, placket and side seams.
