​Coral and Pink Crochet Bag

You’ll need:

3 skeins of light-pink yarn (50% cotton, 50% acryl; 150m/50g);

2 skeins of the same yarn, but in coral color;

Crochet hook 3.

Size: 42 cm high, 34 cm wide.

Instructions

Make 2 chain sts with coral yarn and make 6 single crochets in the 2^nd chain st from the crochet hook. Work around:

1^st row: 2 single crochets in every st (12 sts);

2^nd row: * 1 single crochet, 2 single crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to * (18 sts);

3^rd row: * 2 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to * (24 sts);

Continue making increases of 6 sts in every row until you get 31 rows = 192 sts, after that, make 2 rows of single crochets without increases. Turn to light-pink yarn, make 3 chain sts (instead of the 1^st double crochet) and make 1 double crochet in every st to the end of row. Finish the row with slip st in the 3^rd chain st.

Note: start all the following rows of rhombs pattern with 3 chain sts instead of the 1^st double crochet, finish with slip st in the 3^rd chain st.

3^rd row: 4 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 8 times. Continue: * 8 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 8 times*; repeat from * to *, finish the row with 4 double crochets;

4^th row: 3 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 9 times. Continue: * 6 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 9 times*; repeat from * to *, finish the row with 3 double crochets;

5^th row: 2 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 10 times. Continue: * 4 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 10 times*; repeat from * to *, finish the row with 2 double crochets;

6^th row: 1 double crochet (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 11 times. Continue: * 2 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 11 times*; repeat from * to *, finish the row with 1 double crochet;

7^th row: * double crochet, skip st*; repeat from * to *;

8^th row: as the 6^th row;

9^th row: as the 5^th row;

10^th row: as the 4^th row;

11^th row: as the 3^rd row;

12^th row: as the 2^nd row;

13^th row: as the 1^st row;

14^th row: 7 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 5 times. Continue: * 14 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 5 times*; repeat from * to *, finish the row with 7 double crochets;

15^th row: 8 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 4 times. Continue: * 16 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 4 times*; repeat from * to *, finish the row with 8 double crochets;

16^th row: 9 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 3 times. Continue: * 18 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x 3 times*; repeat from * to *, finish the row with 9 double crochets;

17^th row: 10 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x twice. Continue: * 20 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st) x twice *; repeat from * to *, finish the row with 10 double crochets;

18^th row: 11 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st). Continue: * 22 double crochets (double crochet, chain st, skip st)*; repeat from * to *, finish the row with 11 double crochets;

19^th row: double crochet in every st;

After that, work due to the instructions, but in reversed order.

20^th row: as the 18^th row;

21^st row: as the 17^th row;

22^nd row: as the 16^th row;

Work to the 37^th row in the same way;

38^th row: double crochet in every st and change to coral yarn.

Upper Placket and Handles

Start your work from the 39^th row. Make 1 chain st increase and make 6 rows of single crochets: * 32 single crochets, 80 chain sts, skip 32 sts and make 32 single crochets*; repeat from * to *. After that, work with 6 rows of single crochets, decrease 1 st on the 1^st chain stand on the 80^th chain st. Cut the yarn, fasten the ends.
