​Relief Crochet Coat

You’ll need:

1600g of CoCo yarn (100% cotton; 240m/50g);

Crochet hook 1,75 and 1,5.

Note: work from bottom to up as one-piece cloth.

Size: S-M.

Instructions

Make long chain of 300-400 chain sts with crochet hook 1,75 from 1 ball. Work from the 2^nd ball in the following way: 1^st row: 3 chain sts increase, 2 double crochet, * 11 empty squares of filet net (1 empty square of filet net = 2 chain sts, 1 double crochet, 1 filled square of filet net = 3 double crochets), 1 filled square of filet net, 11 empty squares of filet net, 6 double crochets*; repeat from * to * x 8 times, 3 double crochets. Cut the yarn from the 1^st ball and tighten. Then, work with “spiders” pattern from the 1^st row on 23 squares of filet net, decrease 1 st in the stripes of double crochets. Make the 3^rd pattern repeat due to the scheme 1. After making 1 row of empty squares of filet net, decrease 1 st in the stripes of double crochets. Make the 4^th and 5^th pattern repeats of “spiders” due to the scheme 2, decrease 1 st in the stripes of double crochets – 2 crochets should be left. Make the 6^th pattern of “spiders” due to the scheme 3.

Then, start making waist, for this, make 220 chain sts along the upper edge of work with crochet hook 1,5 and make 33 rows of double crochets, make every 11^th-13^th sts together in the 1^st row. Then, divide 220 sts in 3 parts: right front, back and left front, mark 61 sts from both sides.

Right Front

Work with double crochets, at the same time, make 3 sts together for collar chamfer. For raglan line, decrease 1 x 5 sts, 1 x 4 sts, 2 x 3 sts and 3 x 1 st from the marked st. Then, crochet straight for 36 rows from the side of arm-hole, continue working to the end of the 36^th row for collar chamfer from the beginning of right front = 29 sts.

Left Front

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Back

Work with double crochets, make decreases in the same way, as for front. Crochet the rest 84 sts straight = totally, 36 rows form the beginning of back.

Sleeves

Make 63 chain sts and divide them in the following way: 1^st row: 3 chain sts increase, 23 double crochets, 7 empty squares of filet net, 1 filled square of filet net, 7 empty squares of filet net, 24 double crochets. Then, work with “spiders” due to the scheme 3 on 15 squares of filet net. For sleeve chamfers, increase 1 st in every 5^th row from both sides. There are 91 sts in 70 rows from the set-up row. For sleeve cap, bind off 1 x 5 sts, 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row, 5 x 1 st in every 4^th row, 1 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 4 sts and 1 x 7 sts in every 2^nd row = 27 sts. Cut the yarn.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves, make sleeve seams. Make 4 button-loops. Fasten all the edges with “shrimp stitch”.
