​Knit Ombre Pullover

You’ll need:

350 (350) 400g of yarn (51% cotton, 45% polyacryl, 4% polyamide; 180m/50g) in pink-violet sectional coloring;

Knitting needles 5;

Circular knitting needles 5.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib;

Net pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 2 + 2 selvage sts. Start and finish every row with 1 selvage st.

1st row: 1 knit st, * knit2tog, 2 yarn overs, knit2tog to the left*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

2nd and 4th rows: purl, 2 yarn overs – 1^st yarn over as purl, 2^nd yarn over as knit st;

3^rd row: 1 knit st, * 1 yarn over, knit2tog to the left, knit2tog, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st.

Repeat 1^st-4^th rows.

Stitches control: 13 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Note: back is 3 cm longer, then front.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 64 (68) 72 sts and make 1,5 cm = 3 rows of 1 x 1 rib between selvage sts for placket, start with 1 WS row. Continue work with net pattern. In 51 cm = 102 rows from the placket, bind off 1 x 2 sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers, then, bind off 2 x 2 sts and 3 x 3 sts (5 x 3 sts) 3 x 3 sts and 2 x 4 sts in every 2^nd row. At the same time, in 53 cm = 106 rows from the placket, bind off the central 18 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from inwards. In 57 cm = 114 rows from placket, bind off the rest 3 sts of each shoulder.

Front

Cast on 64 (68) 72 sts and make placket in the same way, as for back. Continue work with net pattern. In 44 cm = 88 rows from placket, bind off the central 8 sts for neck-hole, then, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 5 x 1 st in every 2^nd row. In 48 cm = 96 rows from placket, make shoulder chamfer from both sides in the same way, as for back. In 54 cm = 108 rows from placket, bind off 3 sts of each shoulder.

Sleeves

Cast on 24 (28) 32 sts for each sleeve and make placket in the same way, as for back. Continue work with net pattern. At the same time, increase 8 x 1 st in every 10^th row from both sides for sleeve chamfers = 40 (44) 48 sts. In 42 cm = 84 rows from placket, bind off all the sts loosely.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For trim, cast on 74 sts along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles and make 4 rnds of 1 x 1 rib. Then, bind off the sts due to the pattern. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams, leave the lower 10 cm of front and 13 cm of back open for side cuts.
