​Dust-Pink Knit Dress

You’ll need:

700 (750) 800g of dust-pink Cashmerino yarn (55% merino wool, 35% polyacryl, 10% cashmere; 100m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 5,5;

Circular knitting needles 5.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;

Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts;

Cable A (25 sts wide): due to the scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the pattern. Repeat 1^st-12^th rows.

Cable B (25 sts wide): make in the same way, as cable A, but start with the 7^th row. Repeat 7^th-12^th rows x once, repeat 1^st-12^th rows.

Central cable (15 sts wide): make in the same way, as cable A, but due to the scheme 2. Repeat 1^st-24^th rows.

Cable for yoke (26 sts wide): make in the same way, as cable A, but due to the scheme 3. Repeat 1^st-24^th rows.

1 x 1 rib.

Patterns order: 1 selvage st, 3 (5) 7 sts of stockinette stitch, 7 (8) 9 sts of wrong-side pattern, 25 sts of cable A, 6 (7) 8 sts of wrong-side pattern, 15 sts of central cable, 6 (7) 8 sts of wrong-side pattern, 25 sts of cable B, 7 (8) 9 sts of wrong-side pattern, 3 (5) 7 sts of stockinette stitch, 1 selvage st.

Stitches control: patterns order: 21 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Cable for yoke: 26 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back/Front

Cast on 99 (107) 115 sts in criss-cross way due to the patterns order. In 51 cm = 132 rows from the set-up row, bind off 5 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers and 5 (8) 11 x 1 st in every 2^nd row. In 55,5 cm = 144 rows (57,5 cm = 150 rows) 60 cm = 156 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 79 (81) 83 sts.

Sleeves

Cast on 65 (69) 73 sts with criss-cross method and work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 18 (19) 20 sts of cable B (the last 18 (19) 20 sts due to the scheme 1), 6 (7) 8 sts of wrong-side pattern, 15 sts of the central pattern, 6 (7) 8 sts of wrong-side pattern, 18 (19) 20 sts of cable A (= the first 18 (19) 20 sts due to the scheme 1), 1 selvage st. In 15,5 cm = 40 rows from the set-up row, increase 1 st from both side for sleeve chamfers and 2 x 1 st in every 20^th row from both sides for sleeve chamfers = 71 (75) 79 sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 39,5 cm = 102 rows from the set-up row, make raglan chamfers in the same way, as for back.

Yoke

Knit across. Caston 28 sts and make cable for yoke between selvage sts. In 11 cm = 288 rows from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Make raglan, side and sleeve seams, make yoke seam. Sew the long left edge of yoke to the neck-hole. Cast on 186 sts along the loose edge of yoke with circular knitting needles and make placket with rib. At 5,5 cm height of the placket, bind off the sts.
