​Tender Knit Pullover

You’ll need:

200 (250) 300g of white Organico yarn (100% bio-cotton; 90m/50g);

100 (150) 150g of the same yarn, but in yellow-pink color;

100 (150) 150g of the same yarn, but in brown color;

100 (150) 150g of the same yarn, but in grey color;

Knitting needles 4 and 4,5;

Circular knitting needles 4.

Used Patterns

Knitting needles 4,5:

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows and yarn overs as purls. Repeat the pattern from 1^st to 20^th rows between selvage sts.

Garter stitch: all knit sts;

Fancy pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 3 + 2 selvage sts.

1^st and 3^rd rows: 1 selvage st, 3 purls, * 1 knit st, 3 purls*; repeat from * to *, 1 selvage st;

2^nd, 4^th and 6^th rows: due to the pattern;

5^th row: 1 selvage st, 3 purls, * 1 knit st, insert knitting needle 5 rows lower, slip the upper 5 rows, 3 purls*; repeat from * to *.

Repeat 1^st-6^th rows.

Patterns order (at first, from 86 (96) 104 sts): 30 (40) 50 rows of relief pattern in yellow-pink color, make WS rows with grey yarn, 16 rows of garter stitch in grey color, decrease 25 (27) 27 sts in the last RS row and make the last WS row with brown color = 61 (69) 77 sts, 42 rows of fancy pattern in brown color, make the last WS row with garter stitch in grey color, increase 25 (27) 27 sts in this row = 86 (96) 104 sts, 16 rows of garter stitch in grey color, decrease 13 (15) 15 sts in the last RS row, make the last WS row with white color = 73 (81) 89 sts, finish with 74 (84) 90 rows of fancy pattern = totally, 182 (198) 214 rows.

Rib, knitting needles 4: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 2 selvage sts. RS row: 1 selvage st, * 1 knit st, 2 purls, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *, 1 selvage st. WS row: due to the pattern.

Stockinette stitch, circle rows: knit.

Stitches control: relief pattern: 17 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Garter stitch: 17 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Fancy pattern: 14,5 sts x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 86 (96) 104 sts with yellow-pink yarn and work due to the patterns order, start and finish relief pattern for size M with selvage st and 2 knit sts. In 3,5 cm = 12 rows from the end of the 2^nd stripe of garter stitch, bind off 8 sts from both sides for arm-holes = 57 (65) 73 sts. In 20,5 cm = 72 rows (22,5 cm = 78 rows) 24 cm = 84 rows from the end of the 2^nd stripe of garter stitch, bind off 3 (4) 5 sts from both sides for sleeve chamfers and 2 x 3 (4) 5 sts in every 2^nd row. In 22,5 cm = 78 rows (24 cm = 84 rows) 25,5 cm = 90 rows from the end of the 2^nd stripe, bind off the rest 39 (41) 43 sts, the outer 4 sts from each side refer to shoulder, the central 31 (33) 35 sts form neck-hole.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 8,5 cm = 30 rows (10,5 cm = 36 rows) 12 cm = 42 rows from the end of the 2^nd stripe of garter stitch, bind off the central 17 (19) 21 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 sts, 4 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides and 1 x 1 st in the next 4^th row from inwards. Bind off the rest 4 sts of shoulder from both sides at the same height, as for back.

Sleeves

Work with fancy pattern, then, sew up the sleeves WS face. Cast on 54 (62) 66 sts with grey yarn and make 4 cm of rib for placket, decrease 5 sts in the last WS row = 49 (57) 61 sts. Then, work with fancy pattern with white yarn. In 12 cm = 42 rows (13,5 cm = 48 rows) 15,5 cm = 54 rows from the placket, bind off all the sts due to the pattern.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 100 (104) 108 sts with white yarn and circular knitting needles, make 2 cm of stockinette stitch in circle rows for the placket and bind off all the sts as knit sts. Make all the seams.
