​Green Grass Knit Jacket

You’ll need:

400 (450) 450g of Naturale yarn (43% alpaca, 23% royal mohair, 17% merino wool, 17% polyamide; 95m/50g);

Circular knitting needles 4,5;

1 button.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts;

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is even. Start and finish every row with 1 selvage st. 1^st row: knit;

2^nd row: purl;

3^rd row: knit2tog;

4^th row: * 1 knit st, 1 knit st from next crossed yarn*; repeat from * to *.

Repeat 1^st-4^th rows.

Cable (24 sts wide): due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the pattern. Repeat 1^st-12^th rows.

2 x 2 rib.

Stitches control: 19 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 92 (100) 108 sts and make 1,5 cm of wrong-side pattern. Then, work with relief pattern. In 54 cm = 156 rows from the placket, increase 16 sts from both sides for sleeves = 124 (132) 140 sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 74 cm = 214 rows (76 cm = 220 rows) 78 cm = 226 rows from the placket, bind off all the sts.

Left Front

Cast on 46 (50) 54 sts and make 1,5 cm of wrong-side pattern for placket. Then, work with relief pattern. In 38,5 cm = 112 rows from the placket, bind off 1 st from left side for neck-hole chamfer, 2 x 1 st in every 4^th row and 15 x 1 st in every 6^th row (17 x 1 st in every 6^th row) 13 x 1 st in every 6^th row and 4 x 1 st in every 8^th row. At the same time, make increases for sleeves from the right side in the same way, as for back. Bind off the rest 44 (48) 52 sts at the height of back.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Left Sleeve

Cast on 26 sts for stripe with cable and make cable between selvage sts. In 40 cm = 96 rows (44 cm = 106 rows) 48 cm = 116 rows from the set-up row, bind off the sts. Cast on 76 (84) 92 sts along right long edge of stripe and work with rib. At the same time, bind off 14 x 1 st in every 4^th row and 2 x 1 st in every 6^th row. In 30 cm = 72 rows from the stripe, bind off the rest 44 (52) 60 sts.

Right Sleeve

Make in symmetry to the left sleeve.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams and upper seams of sleeves. For plackets, cast on 75 sts from the edges of front from the bottom to beginning of neck-hole chamfer, make 1 WS row of knit sts and 1 RS row of purls, bind off the sts as purls in the next WS row. For left placket neck-hole, cast on 26 sts and make cable between selvage sts. In 46 cm = 110 rows (48 cm = 115 rows) 50 cm = 120 rows from the set-up row, leave the sts. Make right placket of neck-hole in the same way, but make button-hole. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Sew the button.
