​Beige Crochet Tunic

You’ll need:

450 (550) 650g of beige Merino-Superwash yarn (100% merino wool; 160m/50g);

Crochet hooks 3 and 3,5;

Circular knitting needles 3,5.

Used Patterns

Main pattern, crochet hook 3,5: the quantity of sts is multiple 15 + 3 + 1 chain st increase. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1 RS row A, then, repeat 1^st-4^th rows x once, then, repeat 3^rd-4^th rows.

Fringe, crochet hook, 3: start every circle row with 1 chain st increase instead of the 1^st single crochet and finish with 1 slip st in chain st increase.

1^st row: single crochets;

2^nd row: * 1 single crochet, 1 picot, skip 1 st, 1 single crochet*; repeat from * to *.

Stockinette stitch: in circle rows only knit sts.

Wrong-side pattern: in circle rows only purls.

Cross-sectional pattern, knitting needles 3,5: 4 rows of stockinette stitch and 4 rows of wrong-side pattern by turn.

Stitches control: main pattern: 23 sts x 9,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Make 108 (123) 138 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with the main pattern. In 52,5 cm = 50 rows (50,5 cm = 48 rows) 48,5 cm = 46 rows from the set-up row, bind off 9 sts from both sides for arm-holes. In 69,5 cm = 66 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 44 (53) 62 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, decrease 6 sts during 3 rows from inwards. In 73 cm = 70 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 67,5 cm = 64 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 38 (47) 56 sts and decrease 9 sts during 5 rows from inwards.

Sleeves

Make 60 (60) 75 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with the main pattern. For sleeve chamfers, increase 1 x 1 st in the 4^th (2^nd) 4^th row from both sides, then, 16 (16) 18 x 1 st in every 2^nd row and 0 (4) 0 x 1 st in every row = 94 (102) 113 sts, include the first 17 sts in the pattern, make the rest sts as double crochets. In 40 (42) 44 rows from the set-up row, make 1 row of single crochets and finish your work.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams, fasten the neck-hole line with 1 row of slip sts with crochet hook 3,5. Then, cast on 138 (158) 178 sts along the neck-hole line with circular knitting needles and work with cross-sectional pattern. In 5 cm = 27 rows from the beginning of collar, make 1 cross knit st from crossed yarn x 24 times = 162 (182) 202 sts. In 25,5 cm = 135 rows from the beginning of collar, bind off all the sts. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Make 2 rows of fringe along the bottom edge and sleeves.
