You’ll need:

600 (650) 700g of silver Amalfi yarn (70% cotton, 30% polyamide; 90m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 4,5 and 5;

Circular knitting needles 4,5.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Main pattern, knitting needles 5: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 3 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-4th rows.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Stitches control: main pattern: 22 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 161 (169) 177 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 1 WS row of knit sts (this row isn’t taken into account). Then, turn to knitting needles 5 and work with the main pattern. In 2,5 cm = 6 rows from the set-up row, bind off 1 st from the right side and 5 x 1 st, 13 x 2 sts, 5 x 3 sts, 2 x 4 sts in every 2nd row, then, bind off 1 st for better fitting in the next 8 rows, 2 x 1 st in every 6th row and 2 x 1 st in every 4th row. At the same time, bind off 8 x 1 st in every 8th row from the left side, 2 x 1 st in every 6th row, 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row for better fitting. In 35 cm = 84 rows, there are 89 (97) 105 sts in work. In 42,5 cm = 102 rows from the set-up row, increase 4 sts from both sides for sleeves and 7 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts and 5 (8) 11 x 1 st in every 2nd row and, at first, work with stockinette stitch, after making 4 increases, include the increased sts in the main pattern = 161 (175) 189 sts. In 57,5 cm = 138 rows (60 cm = 144 rows) 62,5 cm = 150 rows from the set-up row, bind off all the sts, make the edge sts in the following way: 1 selvage st, * 1 knit st, knit2tog, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st, knit2tog (1 knit st) 1 knit st, knit2tog and 1 selvage st.

Front

Make in symmetry to the back.

Straps for shoulders

Make 2.

Cast on 9 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 1 WS row of purls. Then, make 24 cm = 58 rows with the main pattern and bind off all the sts as knit sts.

Straps for neck-hole

Make 2.

Cast on 9 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 1 WS row of purls. Then, make 37,5 cm = 90 rows with the main pattern and bind off all the sts as knit sts.

Assembly

Sew the sleeves. Cast on 75 (83) 91 sts with circular knitting needles, make 1 circle row of purls and bind off all the sts as knit sts. Make side seams. Sew the straps of shoulders from both sides of the central 22 (24) 26 cm of back to the bound off edge of front through shoulders and sew to the back from both sides of the central 24 (26) 28 cm.
