2-2,5 skeins of YarnArt Christmas (100m/50g);

Crochet hooks 1,9 and 2,25;

Fiberfill;

Old CD;

Crystals;

Laces;

Sequins;

Big bead;

Decorations to your liking.

Instructions

1^st row: slip st, 3 chain sts and 9 double crochets in this slip st;

Note: make double crochets through back loops, starting from the 2^nd row.

2^nd row: crochet around: 3 chain sts, * 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in the next st x 5 times*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the same st as 3 chain sts = 16 double crochets;

3^rd row: 3 chain sts, * 2 double crochets in the next st, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet*, 1 double crochets in the same st as 3 chain sts = 21 double crochets;

4^th row: 3 chain sts, 1 double crochet in every stitch, connect.

Continue making the cone shape of your Christmas tree in the following way:

5^th row: 3 chain sts, * 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the same st as 3 chain sts = 28 double crochets;

6^th row: 3 chain sts, double crochet in every st;

7^th row: 3 chain sts, * 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the same st as 3 chain sts = 35 double crochets;

8^th row: 3 chain sts, double crochet in every st;

9^th row: 3 chain sts, * 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the same st as 3 chain sts = 42 double crochets;

10^th row: 3 chain sts, double crochet in every st;

11^th row: 3 chain sts, * 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the same st as 3 chain sts = 49 double crochets;

12^th row: 3 chain sts, double crochet in every st;

13^th row: 3 chain sts, * 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the same st as 3 chain sts = 56 double crochets;

14^th row: double crochets due to the pattern to the end of row;

15^th row: 3 chain sts, * 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in the next st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the same st as 3 chain sts = 63 double crochets;

16^th row: 3 chain sts, double crochet in every st;

17^th row: increase 7 sts in the same way = 70 double crochets;

18^th row: double crochets to the end of row;

19^th row: increase 7 sts in the same way = 77 double crochets;

20^th and 21^st rows: double crochets to the end of row;

22^nd row: increase 7 sts in the same way = 84 double crochets;

23^rd row: double crochets to the end of row.

Brunches

Brunches consist of 2 rows. Crochet them on the 3rd row of cone shape base. The first brunch is make on the second line from the top of your tree. Pay attention, that you should make treble crochets in the 1^st row.

1^st row: crochet through front loops of the 2^nd row of cone base. Join to any st of the 2^nd row of cone base with the help of slip st, * 3 chain sts, 1 treble crochet, 3 chain sts, 2 treble crochets* in the same st as 1 chain st, skip the next 2 sts and make * 2 treble crochets, 3 chain sts, 2 treble crochets, 1 chain st*; repeat from * to * in 2 sts in the 3^rd st, join to the top of crochet from 3 chain sts with the help of slip st. Asaresult, youshouldget 6 “seashells”;

2^nd row: join to the arch and make * 3 double crochets, 3 picots, 3 double crochets, 1 chain st* repeat from * to * to the end of row, cut the yarn.

Cut the yarn and slip it from WS to the base with the help of the crochet hook, draw it with the yarn of the beginning of work and fasten.

Skip 2 rows of cone base and continue making brunches from the 3^rd row.

Crochet from the 2^nd row in the following way: * in 2 sts in the 3^rd st, in 2 sts in the 3^rd st, in 3 sts in the 4^th st*; repeat from * to *.

As a result, you’ll get Christmas tree without bottom.

Bottom

Bottom is plane circle. Make 6 single crochets, increase the quantity of sts to 84 sts, then, make 1-2 rows of 84 single crochet without increases.

When the plane circle is ready, attach old CD from WS with slip sts. Connect bottom part with the base. Leave some open space for stuffing.
