Round Motif Pullover

You’ll need:

300g of Visantia Mohair yarn (70% mohair, 30% acryl; 200m/100g);

Knitting needles 4;

Crochet hook 3.

Size: L.

Stitches control: 15 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

This pullover is knit from the neck-hole as one-piece cloth with relief pattern of 13 pattern repeats due to the scheme 1. Cast on 65 sts = 13 pattern repeats of 5 sts and knit every pattern repeat due to the scheme 1 around. Increase every pattern repeat by means of yarn overs to 14 sts. After knitting 46 rows (182 sts), define the center of back and place the sts in the following way: for back – 56 sts, for front – 60 sts, for sleeves – 28 sts (for each sleeve).

Transfer the sts of sleeves to the auxiliary needle. Transfer the sts of back to the working knitting needles and knit 5 cm of back, continue the pattern. Then, increase several sts between front and back for saving the pattern and continue work for 15-20 cm as one-piece cloth around. For better fitting, decrease every pattern repeat for 1 st. In order not to make sharp decreases, make them not only in 1 row, but in several rows. Knit your pullover to the needed length and bind off every pattern repeat, making your edges more round due to the scheme 2. Transfer the sts of sleeve to the working knitting needles and finish each sleeve with straight and reversed rows due to the ornament. For better fitting, decrease 1 st in every 6 rows from both sides. Bind off every pattern repeat, making your edge more round due to the scheme 2.

Assembly

Cast on the sts along the neck-hole and finish every pattern repeat, making the edge more round due to the scheme 2. Sew the sleeves. Fasten the neck-hole and lower edges of pullover with single crochets and “shrimp stitch” with the crochet hook.
