​Crochet Pillow of Roses

You’ll need:

450g of red Drops Eskimo yarn (100% extra wool; 50m/50g);

300g of the same yarn, but in pink color;

Knitting needles 8;

Crochet hook 6.

Size: 45 х 45 cm.

Stitches control: stockinette stitch: 12 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 16 flower motifs in 4 different color combinations.

Flower A: make 4: 1st-6th rows: pink yarn, 7th-8th rows: red yarn;

Flower B: make 4: 1st-6th rows: red yarn, 7th-8th rows: pink yarn;

Flower C: make 4: 1st-6th rows: pink yarn, 7th-8th rows: red yarn;

Flower D: make 4: 1st-6th rows: red yarn, 7th-8th rows: pink yarn.

Pillow Cover

Cast on 56 sts with knitting needles 8 and red yarn. Work with stockinette stitch, making 1 selvedge st from each side to 90 cm height. Fold the cover in half, RS inwards, and sew the sides along the selvedge sts. Turn out the cover, put the pillow and sew the last side.

Flower Motif

Make 16 flowers, using the previously described combination of colors.

Circle 4 chain sts in the ring with 1 slip st in the 1^st chain st.

1^st circle row: * 1 single crochet in the ring, 3 chain sts*; repeat from * to * x 3 times and finish with 1 slip st in the 1^st single crochet from the beginning of circle row = 3 arches of chain sts;

2^nd circle row: make in the following way in every arch of chain sts: 1 slip st, 5 double crochets and 1 slip st = 3 petals. Turn your work, make the next circle rows on WS of petal.

3^rd circle row: 1 chain st, 1 single crochet around the 1^st single crochet of the 1^st row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between 3^rd and 4^th double crochets on the 1^st petal of the 2^nd circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between the 1^st and 2^nd double crochets on the second petal of the 2^nd circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between the 5^th double crochet and slip st on the 2^nd petal of the 2^nd circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between 1^st and 2^nd double crochet on the third petal of the 2^nd circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 slip st in the 1^st chain st from the beginning of the circle row = 5 arches of chain sts. Turn your work, make the next circle row on the RS of the petal;

4^th circle row: crochet in every arch of chain sts in the following way: 1 slip st, 6 double crochets and 1 slip st = 5 petals. Turn your work, make the next circle rows on WS of petal.

5^th circle row: 1 chain st, 1 single crochet around the 1^st single crochet of the 3^rd row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between 3^rd and 4^th double crochets on the 1^st petal of the 3^rd circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between the 1^st and 2^nd double crochets on the second petal of the 3^rd circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between the 5^th double crochet and slip st on the 2^nd petal of the 3^rd circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between 1^st and 2^nd double crochet on the third petal of the 3^rd circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 slip st in the 1^st chain st from the beginning of the circle row = 6 arches of chain sts. Turn your work, make the next circle row on the RS of the petal;

6^th circle row: crochet in every arch of chain sts in the following way: 1 slip st, 6 double crochets and 1 slip st = 6 petals. Turn your work, make the next circle rows on WS of petal.

7^th circle row: 1 chain st, 1 single crochet around the 1^st single crochet of the 5^th row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between 3^rd and 4^th double crochets on the 1^st petal of the 6^th circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between the 1^st and 2^nd double crochets on the second petal of the 6^th circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between the 5^th double crochet and slip st on the 2^nd petal of the 6^th circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the base between 1^st and 2^nd double crochet on the third petal of the 6^th circle row, 3 chain sts, 1 slip st in the 1^st chain st from the beginning of the circle row = 8 arches of chain sts. Turn your work, make the next circle row on the RS of the petal;

8^th row: crochet in every arch of chain sts in the following way: 1 slip st, 6 double crochets and 1 slip st = 8 petals. Cut and fasten the yarn.

Assembly

Connect the flower motifs due to the scheme, sew 8 of them in the 5^th circle row in order to get square. Sew it to the pillow cover, fasten every corner and middle.
