Light Crochet Cover-Up

You'll need:

6 skeins of 100% cotton yarn (150m/50g) of lilac color;

Crochet hook 3,5.

Size: 35 x 225 cm.

Used Patterns

Main pattern - this is the alternation of net and relief patterns with insets of thick rows of ordinary double crochets. The pattern repeat of the main pattern is made with the crochet hook in the following way: * net pattern, 6 thick rows of double crochets, relief pattern, 6 thick rows of double crochets*. Repeat from * to * at least 6 times. Start and finish with double crochet rows.

Net Pattern

1st row: 2 chain sts increase, * 2 chain sts, skip 2 lower sts, 1 double crochet in the next st*; repeat from * to * to end of row.

Turn your work and continue crocheting in reversed order.

2nd row: 2 chain sts increase in the arch of chain sts of the previous row with the help of 1 double crochet, * 2 chain sts and 1 double crochet in the lower arch*; repeat from * to * to end of row.

Make 17 such rows.

Relief Pattern

1st row: 7 chain sts increase, * skip 3 lower sts, 1 double crochet in the next st, 4 chain sts*; repeat from * to * to end of row.

Turn your work and continue crocheting in reversed order.

2nd row: 5 chain sts, 1 double crochet behind arch of chain sts, * 4 chain sts, 1 doublr crochet in the next arch of chain sts; repeat from * to * to end of row.

3rd row: 7 chain sts, * 4 chain sts, 1 double crochet behind the next arch of lower rows*; repeat from * to *, finish with 4 chain sts and 1 double crochet in the last st.

Repeat 2nd and 3rd rows 4 times.

Then, you should alternate relief and net pattern together with rows of double crochets to the needed length.

Stitches control: 23 sts in 10 сm of work.

Instructions

Make 85 chain sts and 3 chain sts increase. 1 double crochet in the 5th st from the crochet hook to end of row. Totaly, 6 pcs. Then, turn to alternation of relief and net patterns.

You can decorate the edges with tassels.
