You’ll need:

Odds of grey, black and red yarn;

Crochet hook (depends on the yarn).

Instructions

1^st row: circle 8 chain sts in a ring;

2^nd row: 12 single crochets in half sts;

3^rd row: single crochets in the same half sts;

4^th row: 21 single crochets in the center of the flower;

5^th row: turn your poppy and make 21 single crochets.

Take black yarn and draw the sts from the center with the help of crochet hook.

Insert crochet hook with st before the last row of single crochets, draw and crochet the st under the center of flower.

Make 1 single crochet, 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet, through the edge of the center.

Make the rest 6 connecting strips of the poppy center in the same way.

Make 21 single crochets in the next row of your flower.

The next stage is to make 21 stamens of poppy: 16 chain sts, double crochets.

Then, make the petals of your flower.

Join the red yarn with slip st from the wrong side.

1^st row: 10 chain sts, double crochets;

2^nd row: fasten the previous row with 12 single crochets;

3^rd and 4^th rows: 14 single crochets;

5^th and 6^th rows: 16 single crochets;

7^th-9^th rows: 18 single crochets;

10^th row: increase 10 sts (totally, 28 sts);

11^th row: (single crochet, half-crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, double crochet, half-crochet, single crochet) x 4 times.
